NETC Board Member Spotlight: Mark Starry
Mark Starry MS, CISSP
Chief Technology Officer
Capital Region HealthCare/Concord Hospital
With more than 30 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity, Mark brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the NETC board. He earned his Engineering degree from DeVry University in 1987, followed by a Master’s degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University in 2004. A Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2003, he has also authored several publications exploring cybersecurity challenges, including the impact of malware and social engineering attacks on healthcare organizations.
Mr. Starry currently leads infrastructure and information security initiatives at Capital Region HealthCare/Concord Hospital, where he helps shape technology strategy, security policies, and best practices to protect critical systems and data. His distinguished career began at American International Group (AIG), where he contributed to the development of the company’s first nationwide LAN-based insurance rating program, and later at Oracle Corporation, where he helped securely integrate internet and web technologies into enterprise operations. His deep technical knowledge and commitment to innovation make him an invaluable member of our board.
