STATUS: Bidding is open for this RFP until 5 p.m. on 06/20/25.

Question: What Specific Network Security and Management Services are you requesting?

Answer: Annual or bi-annual pentesting, management of network equipment upgrades and security patches, configuration of new network equipment, troubleshooting support for network equipment.

 

Question: Do you require management of firewalls, switches, and access points? 

Answer: Yes

 

Question: Would you also like servers and workstations to be managed?

Answer: Servers and some workstations via Intune.

 

Question: Are you seeking Help Desk support for these devices?

Answer: No, helpdesk support will be handled internally (end user devices).

Answer: 6 firewalls and 2 vMXs

Answer: Meraki mx85 and mx68 located throughout 6 different locations (Salem, Peabody, Gloucester)

Answer: Yes

 

Question: How many switches are deployed at each location?

Answer: 1-5 switches at each location (Peabody Clinic 5, Gloucester Clinic 2, Salem Clinic 5) 1 switch all three other locations.

Answer: Cisco MS120-48LP, MS130-48P, 2 HP Aruba switches.

Answer: Yes

Answer: Salem – 10 / Peabody – 15 / Gloucester – 12 / remaining locations 1

Answer: None, all cloud based servers.

Question: What battery backups and power distribution systems are in place?

Answer: UPS in placed in each MDF/IDF with 15 minutes worth of power.

Answer: Not networked monitored.

 

Question: Are Client Access VPNs being utilized? 

Answer: Yes.

 

Question: How many users rely on VPN connections? 

Answer: All NSCH staff (180 users) and all vendors

 

Question: Is MFA enabled for VPN access? 

Answer: Yes.

Answer: Yes.
