NETC NextGen: Project Status Update
Over the past several months, our team has been working hard behind the scenes to move the SD-WAN project forward as part of the NETC NextGen initiative. This work is focused on futureproofing the network, adopting state-of-the-art technology, and supporting future growth and demand. Below is the latest status update from the NETC team.
Proof of Concept Underway
NETC is actively standing up a Proof of Concept (POC) for its Next Generation network, marking an important step toward a faster, more resilient, and more flexible foundation for member connectivity. This effort is focused on validating performance that not only meets—but exceeds—the capabilities of the current NETC Classic network, including improved throughput, latency, resiliency, and traffic optimization across diverse access paths.
As the POC comes online and testing accelerates, NETC is building toward a future-ready network designed to better support telehealth, cloud applications, and the evolving needs of our members. More updates to come as we move from lab validation to real-world execution—stay tuned.
